Each year Wilby Parish Council agrees a budget for the forthcoming financial year and, based on this budget, issues a Precept to Mid Suffolk District Council. MSDC then collects this money through the annual Council Rate demand sent to each household in the parish and pays it to Wilby Parish Council in two instalments (April and September).
