The village hall, 'Coronation Hall', is in the centre of Wilby village and stands opposite the school, on the corner of London City Road and the B1118 (the main through road between Stradbroke and Brundish).
The hall, officially opened on Saturday 28th May 1955, was the first permanent village hall in Suffolk to be built by voluntary labour. It was built as a permanent memorial of the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The hall is used for a variety of events and is available for private hire (see the Hire Hire charges link on the right). The floor plan of the hall can be viewed at the Floor Plan link on the right.
